About Financial Services
Mission Statement
Welcome to the Duke University Financial Services website. The
Financial Services Division consists of several units working collaboratively
to provide accurate, timely, and efficient accounting, analytical,
and financial reporting services for the Duke University community.
The primary goal of these services is to enable the senior administrative
officers, operating managers, and the Board of Trustees to effectively
manage, monitor, and control the University's financial resources.
These units prepare and consolidate the University's operating
and capital budgets, process the financial transactions, prepare
federal and state government reports and filings, pay employees
and vendors, report internal and external financial results, track
the university's assets and liabilities, and deliver financial tools
to the university community.
