Spread Codes
Spread codes define how the annual budget is distributed across
the fiscal months. At the beginning of a fiscal year, the University
Budget Office assigns each fund/G/L Account combination the spread
code that it had in the previous fiscal year. New fund/G/L Account
combinations will receive the default 12 month spread (AAA). Below
is a list of the available spread options:

The manual spread option, HHH, is a user-defined
spread option. For example, it can be used to place the entire budgeted
amount into one month.
