A Guide to SAP User Administration at Duke
The SAP User Administrator is the primary administrative contact within an operational department for information about SAP. The User Administrator maintains User ID's, and system access for department users of SAP by:
- Ensure the proper software is installed on the user's computer.
- Being informed on the use of roles within SAP.
- Requesting SAP accounts.
- Requesting modifications and deletion of accounts.
- Knowing how to look-up specific SAP roles for a specific user or position.
- Assisting user's with questions they may have about SAP.
- Being aware of new changes, updates, and communications.
