Capital Project Procedures:
Changing User Status
The User Status defines the stage of the project as it is reported on the Board Report. The User Status needs to be updated in order for the Board Report to accurately reflect the status of the projects. Specific events should precipitate the change in the user status. For DUHS the FPDC Financial Specialist will update the User Status Fields, for DU the Capital Budget Officer will update the User Status Fields.
All projects start with a user status of PAPP, which means Pre-Approval. The stages a project can move through are as follows:
| DSGN |
The Design stage is entered when the board has approved the Site, Scope, Architect. |
| CNST |
The Construction stage is entered when the board has approved the project for construction. |
| CMP1 |
The Complete 1 stage is entered when the project is substantially complete and it is included in board reporting. It is still being reported because there are open significant financial issues. |
| CMP2 |
The Complete 2 stage is entered when the project is complete and it is excluded from board reporting. It is no longer being reported on because there are no remaining significant financial issues. |
| HOLD |
This user status is used when a project has formally been put on hold. |
| CNCL |
This user status is used when a project has been cancelled. |
